Loan Laptops

If you have any questions regarding your loan laptop please email


If you have received an email saying that you have been approved for a loan laptop, please book an appointment with Student Central.

  • No laptops will be issued to students who arrive without an appointment.
  • Please expect to spend 30 minutes at your appointment. You will sign your contract at this time as well as personalise your laptop.
  • The laptop does not comes with software, but you are able to load software onto the loan laptop yourself.
  • Student Central will not load any software on to laptops but they can guide you on how to get your free student access to Office365.
  • Your loan contract will be for current academic year (unless your programme/enrolment ends earlier) and you will need to return the laptop at the end of this loan period so other students can also have an opportunity to loan a laptop.

Picking up your laptop

Directions: Come to Student Central - Building 180 (Te Puna).  At the time of your appointment, come immediately to Station 6 within Student Central.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in Auckland, it is important that all instructions are adhered to, to keep you and our team safe. Please read this information carefully to understand the current procedure for loan device pick-up.

  • Appointment time: Please come as close to your appointment time as possible to avoid any overlap with other appointments. Late appointments may not be able to be seen and you may need to rebook.
  • Keep your phone on you: Please have your phone on you, so we can contact you if needed.
  • Wear a mask: Please wear a mask at all times in Te Puna.  This is to ensure the safety of you and our staff.
