Welcome to Zoom - the meeting software
Zoom is the software that Unitec is using to run meetings online.
If you have been in contact with a Subject Librarian, and they believe an online meeting is the best option to help you, this is what you need to do.
- You will receive an email from the Subject Librarian with a link to the Zoom meeting.
- Click on the link in this email. You can sign into the meeting up to 10 minutes before the Zoom meeting time. This will give you time to get organized, and make sure everything is working.
- You may be asked to download a Zoom App or open Zoom in a browser (Chrome and Firefox both work well). Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Sign in with your name, so the Subject Librarian knows you have arrived.
Recordings can be made of the meeting so ask your Subject Librarian to click Record. These recordings will be available for 2 weeks for you to download.
