How does Grammarly work?
Grammarly works by scanning your writing and providing editing suggestions, feedback and support to improve your writing skills using a complex AI.
In the newest update of Grammarly, instead of using add-ins within Microsoft Office, it now travels across your device with a small popup identifier that looks like this:
And when it identifies potential changes to your writing, the icon will shift to reflect this as shown here:
It will also advise you of the tone of your writing as well through use of an emoji in the identifier:

You can customise this to only work in separate windows or software and change the settings to suit your preferences.
