Two Usernames for Unitec Students
As a Unitec student, you have two usernames:
1. Just your network name (for example zhabaq19)
Use this when the log-in screen looks like this:
Use this when you get an image of Te Puna (B180) and your log-in screen looks like this:
Note: For staff, it's username@unitec.ac.nz
There are three options:
Logging into Databases, eBooks and More
You will get this log-in screen and only need your user name.
Login details:
Username: Unitec Network Username (for example zhabaq19)
Password: Unitec Network Password (The default is your date-of-birth DDMMYYYY)
Logging into LibrarySearch/My Library Account
You will get this log-in screen and see an image of Te Puna (the library). You need 'username@myunitec.ac.nz' as your username.
Login details:
Students: username@myunitec.ac.nz (for example: zhabaq19@myunitec.ac.nz)
Staff: username@unitec.ac.nz (for example: qzhabazi@unitec.ac.nz)
Password: Unitec Network Password (The default is your date-of-birth DDMMYYYY)
While at the Mt Albert or Waitakere Campuses of Unitec, you can connect to the following Wifi :

Unitec is also a member of Eduroam, an international roaming service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam enables visitors from Eduroam partners free access to Unitec's Eduroam wireless network and Unitec students and staff can also access wireless networks at Eduroam partners in New Zealand and overseas.
