Insurance

I have a query regarding my insurance.

I need to provide Unitec with my completed insurance application/renewal form

Best option: Email the query or completed form to Insurance Team insurance@unitec.ac.nz. Please include your name, programme name and student ID number.

Visa - general

I have a general query regarding my  visa

I need to provide a copy of my immigration visa

Best option: send email query/copy of visa to  studentvisa@unitec.ac.nz  Please include your name, programme name and student ID number.

Visa application ready to submit I have a visa application ready to submit. Book an appointment with the Visa Team.
Valid visa I am waiting for a  valid visa - can I attend class? No, you need to wait until your valid visa comes through. Your offer letter will indicate the latest possible start date. 
You can phone or email the International Admissions Advisors for any further questions about your offer,
or contact studentvisa@unitec.ac.nz for questions about your visa.
Offer Letter I need  an offer letter for my visa application.

Best option:  Give students Admissions Advisor business card or contact details so they can Phone or email the Admissions Advisor aligned to their programme  Students: Please include your name, programme name and student ID number in your email.
If no reply to phone or email then:
Book an appointment with the Admissions Advisor aligned to programme.of study

Attendance / SEATs

I haven’t received my attendance letter.

OR

I have received a letter about my attendance but I am not happy with the total percentage.

Please check your email again, INCLUDING the junk and trash boxes.

Book an appointment with any of international team within Student Success i.e. Visa/Insurance and Support Advisors
or

If you are not happy with percentage, please ensure you have evidence of why your attendance percentage should be higher

Re-enrolment
Taken a break from studies
I have had a break from my studies.  Can I go through the ‘re-enrolment’ process?

No, International students must submit a new application.  This is due to NZQA regulations and having valid English Language evidence.  An Advisor will get in touch with you once a new application is received.

Failed a paper/ course I have failed a course.  Can I re-enrol in the course for free?
