Drop-ins are first come first served - make sure to go as early as possible. Bring the relevant documents or prepare the question you want to ask beforehand for the best possible result.

Careers Drop-ins

Te Puna,  Outside of Yellow Lecture Theatre: Monday - Friday 12 pm - 1 pm

Waitakere, Unitec Library level 3, online appointment (via Microsoft TEAMS) only at this time. 

This drop-in service is available to the Unitec community only - not members of the public. 

There are no drop-ins between semesters.

Student Support - Maori

  • Māori Learning Advisors:
    • Mt Albert, B180-Maia Centre - no allocated times; however, students can drop in anytime Monday - Friday, 10 am - 4 pm, and available staff will help them.
    • Waitakere, Te Rangimarie, Level 1. Tuesday and Wednesday during semester times. 
  • Māori Counsellor Rodney Greaves: drop-in session on Mondays 12.30 - 1.30pm in B180-Maia Centre

Learning Advisor - Pacific

Mt Albert, B180-Pacific Centre -  no allocated times; however students can drop in anytime Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, and available staff will help them. 

Wednesday, Pacific drop-in with Karen for Bridgepoint; B170-1070 (11 am - 12 pm)

Learning Advisor drop-in

If you’ve got a quick study question — like how to get started on an assignment, reference your writing properly, or manage your time — our drop-in sessions run all semester and are perfect for that.

No need to book, just drop-in!

The Maths and Science learning advisors have a dedicated space at Mt Albert campus, on Level 2 in Te Puna (B180), located behind the Polynesian wall hangings near room 180-2060. You are welcome to study here, and an advisor may be available to assist you.
