Finding e-books at Unitec Library

The majority of our e-books at Unitec are available through ProQuest Ebook Central. However, we do have some ebooks from other platforms.

5 easy steps to finding e-books!

1. Search for your topic using keywords in Library Search, our library catalogue  (or if you are looking for a particular title, search for that title.)
2. On the left-hand side, select 'Full-Text Online' under the Availability section.
3. Still on the left-hand side, select 'Books'
4. When you have found a title you would like to access, click on the title of the book to get the detailed record. 
5. Look for the 'View Online' section and Click on the link beside 'Full-text available at"

The book I want isn't available as an e-book

Unfortunately, e-books can be expensive so we don't have access to e-book versions of all titles. We do try to buy e-book versions of titles we know are popular. Try these options

1. Take the 'Full Text Online' limiter off your search and see if we have the book as a print/hard-copy book.

2. Contact your Subject Librarian and they will look at options.
